Information you share
Maroon Roots collects the information you choose to submit. Our waitlist asks for your name, email address and an optional WhatsApp number. Our experience form collects your rating, comments, sharing preferences and, if you choose named attribution, your name. Our contact form collects your inquiry type, name, email address and message. Please do not include sensitive information or private family records in these forms.
How we use it
We use waitlist details to share Maroon Roots updates, contact details to respond to inquiries, and feedback to understand and improve your experience. Sending a contact inquiry or feedback does not subscribe you to marketing updates. You may ask to leave the waitlist at any time.
Feedback remains private unless you give permission to share it. Any publication is reviewed first and follows your selected attribution preference. Comments may be shortened without changing their meaning; your permission does not cover private family information.
Data storage and privacy
Submissions are stored privately using our service provider's cloud service. Contact inquiries also generate a notification to the appropriate Maroon Roots team inbox. These providers process information to operate the website, store submissions and deliver email. Submitted information is not displayed publicly, except feedback approved for publication with your permission.
Security and retention
We restrict access to submitted information and use safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access and abuse. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information as needed for the purposes described here and to meet applicable obligations. You can contact us to request deletion or ask about information you have shared.
Social links
Social icons take you to external platforms in a new tab. Those services have their own privacy policies and may collect information when you visit them.
Your choices and questions
To request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, withdraw feedback-sharing permission, leave the waitlist, or ask a privacy question, email hello@maroonroots.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Withdrawal of sharing permission does not automatically remove copies already shared by others.
